You are really welcome to join us, whether you’re exploring faith, want to visit or you’re looking for a church to call home.

Whether you’ve been to church before or this is your first time, we’d love to help you find your feet and introduce you to our community.

When you come in you will be welcomed and offered a tea or coffee, before finding a seat. Our gatherings are then introduced from the front, and we usually start with a time of celebration and sung worship. All the words are on the screen so you can sing along if you would like to.

Then there is a talk shared from the Bible and a chance to be prayed with at the end if you would like. There is no pressure to do that and you should feel free to engage as much or as little as you would like, even if that means not singing at all and just coming in to watch.

Towards the end of the gathering, we share coffee together – a great chance to meet new people and get to know one another more!

We also regularly share communion together as part of our gatherings.

We welcome all ages, and start our gathering with everyone together before children are invited to go to their children’s groups. Each group provides a safe and fun environment in which to learn about God through storytelling, crafts and games. If your child would rather stay in the larger gathering, that’s fine too – we don’t mind a bit of noise! There are kids groups for 0-12 year olds (up to the end of primary school), and all our team go through an application process and a full Disclosure Scotland check. Please complete a consent form for your child(ren), if you’ve not done so before.

Adelaide Place Safeguarding Policy

Our church building is on the corner of Bath Street and Pitt Street. The main entrance is on Pitt Street, but if you can’t manage stairs you are welcome to use the entrance on Bath Street.

We encourage you to come by foot, bicycle or public transport. The nearest train station is Charing Cross, but we are also a short walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations. There are lots of buses which come past the door on Bath Street (3, 4, 4A, 15, 77)

Please note the church is within Glasgow's Low Emission Zone. Car parking is available on street but is expensive. Cheaper rates are at the nearest multi-storey car parks at Charing Cross (Elmbank Crescent) and Cambridge Street.
